Prashant Tiwary is an independent researcher and writer whose work explores consciousness, the nature of thought and the relationship between contemplative wisdom and modern neuroscience. For more than two decades, he has studied and practised insights from a wide range of spiritual, philosophical and consciousness traditions.
His areas of study include the Bhagavad Gita, Tao Te Ching, and the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, Osho, Lester Levenson, David Hawkins, Ken Wilber, Vadim Zeland, Neville Goddard and Esther Hicks. He has also explored the Hawaiian tradition of Ho'oponopono, bringing together perspectives from different traditions in his ongoing inquiry into consciousness and human experience.
Alongside these traditions, Prashant Tiwary draws on modern neuroscience, particularly the split-brain research of Michael Gazzaniga, the hemispheric studies of Iain McGilchrist, the stroke insights of Jill Bolte Taylor and Sam Harris's work on free will. His approach connects contemplative wisdom with contemporary ideas about the brain, mind and human consciousness.
His first book, The Voice in Your Head Is Not You, presents his core insight: the voice in your head is not you. Through his writing and research, Prashant invites readers to examine their relationship with thought and explore questions surrounding consciousness, awareness and the nature of the self.
Prashant Tiwary lives in India with his family and continues his work as a researcher and writer.
His book is available on Amazon.
