The 17th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 will be place between the 1st and 5th of February at Jaipur's Hotel Clarks Amer.

Jaipur Literature Fest is a breath of fresh air in the midst of the full socio-political chorus for all art enthusiasts. It's our escape into a literary realm that manages to entice even the most sceptics into its embrace. Jaipur Literature Fest, a 5-day spectacle hosted in the pink (and apparently opulent) city, is a type of annual pilgrimage for its most passionate fans.

With 17 years of history, JLF has hosted eminent writers, poets, business leaders, entertainers, thinkers, historians, politicians, and humanitarians from all over the world on a common stage, making their voices easily accessible to the masses.

JLF 2024, now in its 17th year, aims to be larger and better than before. The event, which is set to take place between the 1st and 5th of February at Jaipur's Hotel Clarks Amer, offers its distinct flavour, substance, and grandeur.

The five-day celebration will include laureates of prestigious awards such as the Booker Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, Sahitya Akademi, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Baillie Gifford, the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature, and the JCB Prize for Literature. The event will be attended by Pulitzer Prize-winning luminary Hernan Diaz, as well as notable luminaries such as art critic and writer Katie Kitamura, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan, journalist-novelist Raj Kamal Jha, and cultural commentator Mary Beard.

Damon Galgut, winner of the 2022 Booker Prize, is also on the list, as is debut novelist of "Quarterlife" Devika Rege, best-selling American author of "The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death," Jeff Goodell, prize-winning and bestselling broadcaster Jerry Brotton, acclaimed Hindi novelist and writer Mridula Garg, and award-winning author of three novels Nilanjana S Roy. The event will also feature award-winning journalist-author Patrick Radden Keefe, fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, British writer Ben Macintyre, RA Mashelkar, winner of 47 honorary doctorates, and former chief justice of Orissa High Court, 5 Muralichar.

Other JLF Events

The Jaipur Music Stage will showcase a diverse range of top artists from around the world, as well as performances that straddle genres and continents. Prabh Deep, When Chai Met Toast, Alit, Revisit Project, and Salman Elahi X Harpreet will all be performing. On February 4th, Amber Fort will host an evening of musical performances, while the final day will feature the Writers' Ball, which will bring together distinguished authors, speakers, influencers, book enthusiasts, and thought leaders for an event of musical performances by top artists, engaging conversations, and delightful cocktails under a starry sky.
