The London Book Fair (LBF) has outlined its programme for the event in 2025. The three-day academic conference will be scheduled from 11th March to 13th March 2025 at Olympia London. The academic conference of LBF will prove to be beneficial sessions and networks for all its attendees.

Every year, LBF hosts two ticketed conferences that dig deep into the nitty-gritty of publishing. Previous years have included rights selling, contracts, agent pitching, and how to get published. Attendees at the conferences will also receive the whole three days of the fair.

For 2025, LBF will feature four award-winning authors as "Authors of the Day" in key categories:

Monica Ali (Adult Book Author of the Day), the acclaimed novelist and current chair of the Women's Prize for Fiction jury.

Claudia Piñeiro (International Author of the Day), the acclaimed Argentinian novelist and screenwriter, who was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize.

Frank Cottrell-Boyce (Children's Author of the Day), the Waterstones Children's Laureate and a renowned children's writer.Jamie Smart (Creative Personality of the Fair), a distinguished comics artist and winner of the British Book Awards.

Adam Ridgway, the new director of LBF, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming event:
“The London Book Fair 2025 will highlight the finest in UK and international publishing. We’re excited to welcome Monica, Claudia, Frank, and Jamie, whose talents and insights will engage audiences throughout the fair.”

The call for papers for LBF's seminar sessions will open in Autumn 2024. The fair will include a diverse list of speakers and discussions that include adult fiction, children's literature, international publishing trends, and the creative industry.

Indeed, the London Book Fair-the crown jewel of the publishing fairs around the world-opened its doors this April, launching the year-long calendar of international trade exhibitions, soon to be rivaled by the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
