Hema Malini performed at the launch of her book about Vrindavan

Hema Malini, the "Dream Girl'' of Bollywood, is a Bharatanatyam dancer, Member of Parliament, politician, and devotee of Lord Krishna. She performed with fellow dancers during the release of her book Chal Mann Vrindavan in New Delhi this week.

Hema Malini, the Lok Sabha member from Mathura, compiled a book of glossy photos showcasing the temples and edifices of Mathura-Vrindavan, aiming to boost tourism.

The MP has asked for help from locals and Lord Krishna devotees to finish ongoing projects with a long-lasting impact on Braj.

The launch event for Hema Malini's book featured a fashion show displaying the designs of Sulakshana Mago, who is inspired by motifs from Vrindavan.
