At the book fair, a Chinese publisher generously donated 1 million yuan worth of books

China Publishing Group Corp donated books worth one million yuan to 10 libraries and community centers in Shanghai during its "Reader's Forum" at the Shanghai Book Fair. The forum is intended to be a carnival for readers and was held in Shanghai for the first time this year.

Nearly 1,000 readers joined a forum where seven writers discussed poetry, civilization, technology, and encouraging children to read.

Professor Xu Hong explains that archeology is not just about material demands, but satisfies our curiosity and helps us find inner peace by rediscovering objects and their history.

At the book fair, China Publishing Group's 23 houses showcased over 5,000 titles, including new releases from established writers, award-winning books, and titles on interesting topics.
