Terms and Conditions for the PVLF 24-Hour Author’s Marathon
The last date of registration for the PVLF 24-Hour Author’s Marathon has been extended to 20th December, 2021.
Focus is on new & debut & less known authors
The jury will announce the speakers for the Author’s Marathon on 24th December, 2021.
The declared speakers will be provided with the topics for the “PragatiE Vichaar Literature Festival”.
The 24 hours Author’s Marathon will start at 2 PM on 06th January, 2022 and end at 2 PM on 07th January, 2022. Each session is 30 mins.
Author will be given a topic per the curation. That topic will be selected such that the author can talk about themselves, their book and something that excites the audience.
Author can choose to do a monologue or bring a moderator for a dialogue. Promotion and activity are built majorly around the author.
Terms and Conditions for the PVLF Excellence Awards
For PVLF People’s Choice Publisher Awards:
The PVLF People's Choice Publisher Awards will be purely based on Nielsen BookScan Data.
No public voting shall be conducted for this category.
There are three categories of awards:
Trade Books
Children Books
Academic Books
Top 3 publishers in each category will be awarded
The announcement of the prizes will be done on 08th January, 2022 during the awards ceremony and then posted on the ‘Frontlist Media’ official website.
For PVLF Reader’s Choice Book Awards:
There are three categories of awards: 1) Platinum 2) Gold 3) Silver
One book from each category will be awarded
The categories are based on Nielsen BookScan Data’s definition of Platinum - More than 250,000 copies sold; Gold - Between 200,000 to 250,000 copies sold; Silver - Between 150,000 to 200,000 copies sold
The winner will be decided in every category based on Nielsen Bookscan data and public voting. Voting will take place from 14th December, 2021 to 04th January, 2022 on ‘Frontlist Media’ official website.
The announcement of the prizes will be done on 08th January, 2022 during the awards ceremony and then posted on the ‘Frontlist Media’ official website.
For PVLF Author Excellence Awards:
The last date of registration for the PVLF Author Excellence Awards is 20th December, 2021.
One book is eligible to participate in only two categories. The charge per category is Rs. 500 only.
The books can be in English or Hindi for the awards participation.
Only those books will be allowed to participate that have been published between the year 2019-2021.
The jury will announce five entries from seven categories on 25th December, 2021.
The winner will be decided amongst these five entries from every category based on public voting between 25th December, 2021 to 04th January, 2022 on ‘Frontlist Media’ official website.
The winner from every category will be announced on 08th January, 2022 during the awards ceremony and then posted on the ‘Frontlist Media’ official website.
