Athens Hosts Massive Book Bazaar Featuring 9,000+ Titles from 200 Publishers

Nearly 200 publishing houses showcasing over 9,000 titles are participating in the 29th Book Bazaar currently underway in Athens, Greece, according to organizers from the Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens.
Described as a long-standing and much-loved institution, the Book Bazaar has been attracting readers for 28 years, offering a vast selection of books at highly affordable prices, with some starting at just €1.
The event is being held at Klavthmonos Square in the heart of the city and will run until February 15. Beyond books, visitors can also browse maps, photo albums, souvenirs, and various other items.
The bazaar is co-organized by the Association of Book Publishers and the Panhellenic Federation of Book Publishers and Booksellers, and is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.
