Youngsters' reward book 'moved' to non Dutch writer

Non-Dutch writers have been authorized to compose the reward book for the following year's Children's Book Week without precedent for the occasion's 68-year history, area association CPNB has reported. The book, which is given allowed to individuals who spend basically €12.50 on youngsters' books during the week, will be crafted by Australian writer Andy Griffith and artist Terry Denton who together delivered the smash hit Treehouse series. Like Harry Potter and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the Treehouse books have been credited with persuading even the most hesitant kids to get a book, the CPNB said. 'Their humor has caused youngsters to find the delight of perusing and we are exceptionally regarded they have consented to compose the reward book,' CPNB chief Eveline Aendekerk said. The topic for 2022's kids' book week, which happens from October 6 to 16, is outside experiences which ties in perfectly with Griffith's odd Treehouse series. Some 1.3 million duplicates of his books have been sold such a long ways in the Netherlands. The 2022 picture reward book will be delivered by Marije Tolman whose Vosje (little fox) acquired the Zilveren Penseel grant in 2019.
