New Book Chronicles PM Modi's Leadership

The book attempts to chronicle PM Modi's administration, policy-making, and international outreach in great detail

A new book charting the leadership journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was unveiled at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) during an event organized by the Public Diplomacy Forum.

Entitled The Modi Story: Perform | Reform | Transform, the book is an attempt to give a comprehensive report on PM Modi's governance, policy choices, and international engagement.

Several of the dignitaries attended the event, headed by the chief guest, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh. Speaking during his address, Dr. Singh was quick to speak on structural change brought under the PM Modi dispensation, mainly in the form of governance, economic reformations, and where India stands today globally. Dr. Singh praised policy decisions that have remolded India's socio-economic canvas as one premised upon "inclusivity, innovation, and integrity."

Dr. Singh also addressed India's increasing involvement in international diplomacy, attributing PM Modi's global outreach efforts to the solidification of strategic relationships. In addition, he highlighted the emphasis on technological breakthroughs by the government, noting some of the main achievements such as Chandrayaan-3, Gaganyaan, and India's advances in the areas of artificial intelligence and biotechnology as proofs of India's increased influence on global technology and space realms.

The Modi Story comes after Being Modi, a coffee table book released in 2014 under the guidance of former Union Minister late Arun Jaitley and then Minister Prakash Javadekar. It is being brought out by Vitasta Publishing. The newest version features unprecedently accessible photos, accounts, and a penetrating review of essential policy steps and welfare programs undertaken while Modi held office.

The book, according to the publishers, addresses PM Modi's political ascent from his formative years to one of the globe's most powerful leaders, policy changes that have defined his style of governance, and the effect of his foreign diplomacy.

The anthology seeks to provide insights into the revolutionary changes in India's economic and political scene under his leadership.

The book launch was followed by a vote of thanks to the guests and participants. Even as the book itself offers a description of PM Modi's leadership from its authors' point of view, its publication contributes to the debate that surrounds his influence on the political and economic course of India.
