The 27th Rabat International Book Fair brings together 120 Egyptian publishing businesses

The 27th Rabat International Book Fair, which takes place from June 2 to 13, features 712 exhibitors from 55 countries, including 120 Egyptian publishing houses. The quantity of publications on display approaches 100,000.

In keeping with Rabat's designation as the city of African culture and the capital of culture in the Islamic world, the book fair's administration picked African literature as the guest of honour for the fair's 27th edition.

"In the city of Rabat, the city of lights and Morocco's cultural capital, this edition comes to commemorate writers, intellectuals, and poets who aspire to leave a mark of innovation and add their triumphs to earlier writing accomplishments," the book fair's administration said in a statement.
