The Government of Telangana Advisor Unveils Book in Tirupati

K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, an advisor to the Government of Telangana, released a book called 'Jakkadona' authored by famous writer R.C. Krishnaswamy Raju at the campus of SVU (Sri Venkateswara University) in Tirupati.
Mr. Srinivasa Raju, who previously held the position of Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, applauded the work and commended the author for shedding light on the rural dialect of Chittoor district. Mr. Raju highlighted the importance of refreshing the tradition of reading books and instilling this habit in the younger generation. As an alumnus of SVU (Sri Venkateswara University), he fondly recalled his student days at the campus. Following the book's release, he presented the first copy to the university's retired librarian, V. Shanmugam.
Meanwhile, Mr. Krishnaswamy Raju described his collection of 21 stories as centered around the small village of Jakkadona in Chittoor district.
Ch. Appa Rao, the acting vice-chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, and M. Bhupathi Naidu, the registrar, highlighted the ‘human angle’ in the stories. In his welcome address, P.C. Venkateshwarlu, the director of Sri Venkateswara University’s Oriental Research Institute, expressed his admiration for Mr. Raju, who has authored 450 stories. Critic Grikapati Ramesh Babu reviewed the book.
