With 10% discount on all books, the fair plans to evolve as a magnetic location for geeks and amateur readers, alike! Igniting the happy nerves of all bibliophiles in the city, Lucknow is all set to welcome its latest book fair at Bal Sangrahalya in Charbagh. Scheduled to be inaugurated on the evening of March 5, this hub for admirers of diverse works of literature shall extend for over a week, concluding on March 14. Being organised under the theme of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', this book festival shall leave you simply amazed with an endless array of the finest publications! Offering a 10% discount on the prices of all books, the fair plans to evolve as a magnetic location for geeks and amateur readers, alike! Open for the visitors from 11 AM to 9 PM, the festival shall welcome all, free of cost. Not only books but this festival is also bringing together a string of programs including dance, singing and many more cultural activities. The managerial body has assured strict adherence to the COVID norms restricting entry to anyone without a mask. Fair to be marked by interactive sessions by a number of authors The event will also be marked by special sessions where the attendees will get to be a part of interactive discussions graced by the presence of eminent authors. Appreciated and revered for his works on Awadh and its culture, Ravi Bhatt would be a part of the fair on March 6. In addition to this, it is scheduled that the festival would host author and journalist Vandana Mishra and poet Priti Chaudhary on the auspicious occasion of Women's Day (March 8). Amping up the festivities, special programs have been planned for this day. While March 9 would witness critic Virendra Kumar, novelist Akhilesh and poet Anil Tripathi taking part in forums with the audience, the schedule for March 11 includes sessions by Storyteller Shivmurti and author Shailender Sagar. The fair will also conduct an array of interesting programs like Kavi Sammelan, Women's Award Function, Open mic, talk show and an exhibition. Additionally, a free eye check-up camp shall be set up by Vishwas Foundation at the venue.
