After not much delay, Sounak took off to Bandel to meet Chandrima. The two met at a local restaurant and strolled down the river bank post their meal. Under the setting sun, the two discussed their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and whatnot.

However, all his hopes and dreams come crashing down when he receives a call from Chandrima, stating that she has decided to marry someone richer and better-looking. Sounak moves forward without unfriending Chandrima on Facebook, hoping to see a better day.

Despite this unfortunate encounter, Sounak does not lose hope and embarks on his quest to find a suitable girl to marry. His expedition to find "the one" is full of heartbreaks and tragic events.
