Saugata is currently a Deputy General Manager with the Reserve Bank of India He continues to be a advisor to lenders through Shareeka where he imparts his knowledge of the subject matter to its clients. They have enhancing his career in India’s central bank having assignments in Currency Management, Human Resource, Financial Markets as well as Market Intelligence. Saugata has done his Post Graduation in Accounting from the University of Calcutta and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers He has also holds Certificates in (Foreign Exchange) Dealing from ACI, Paris; in Gender Sensitive Communication from IIM, Ahmedabad and in Micro Economics from SRCC, Delhi. He has given student speeches to students of SP Jain Institute of Management and Research Mumbai as well as Police Training Academies of Assam Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram and several other establishments. While working as Market intelligence Officer of the RBI in the north-east region, he had professional interface with the state police including CID involving in five states in handling of many cases relating to financial crimes and frauds.
