Shri Yashwant Mehta and Ramesh Tanna Launched the AMAzing Children's Book Fair 2024

AMA's summer program includes the "AMAzing Children's Book Fair 2024" scheduled for May 16-19, 2024.

AMAzing summer programs for school and college kids aged 5 to 24 are scheduled at AMA from April 15 to June 15, 2024. As part of its summer events, the AMA has organized the "AMAzing Children's Book Fair 2024" from Thursday to Sunday, May 16 to 19, 2024.

Shri Yashwant Mehta, renowned and award-winning children's writer and Founder Convener of Balsahitya Akademy, and Shri Ramesh Tanna, renowned writer, journalist, and speaker, inaugurated the AMAzing Children's Book Fair 2024 at AMA and interacted with media representatives.  

In an age of digital revolution and information explosion, the habit of reading has given way to the habit of watching IT gadgets. Publishers and writers continue to receive a positive response from children, and books are embraced by young people. However, in adults, the books are floundering.

Yashwant Mehta presented insights gained from his expertise. He stated that creating a friendly and rewarding culture for writers is critical to the nation's development by instilling a love of reading. Various learned groups in this sector should collaborate and assist children's authors and books.

Ramesh Tanna recalled Vinoba Bhave and how his parents played a crucial part in introducing literature into his life. Today, technology has influenced parenting, and children are shaped by technology rather than parents. Giving love, giving literature, and exposing children to nature are three pillars for fostering creativity and successful parenting. Books are an alternative to digital technology. Reading books exercises the brain by keeping it busy.

The Book Fair will be open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, and Sunday, May 19, 2024. Books will be accessible in Hindi, Gujarati, and English languages. Readers will receive special discounts on this occasion to encourage them to read.
