The free event features dozens of Ohio-based authors sharing their recent publications under various categories, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry and more. The showcase has an emphasis on BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) writers, offering them a chance to read their work and sell their books at the fair.

Ohio authors include “Bad Girls of the Bible” author Barbara Essex, “Black Girl Unlimited” author Echo Brown and “I Always Carry My Bones” and “Quotient” poet Felicia Zamora.

Beyond BIPOC writers, the fair will also host a range of other local authors in its Author Alley section. Loganberry Books is located at 13015 Larchmere Boulevard in Cleveland.

This marks the second BIPOC author showcase that Loganberry has hosted, following 2019′s event. The Larchmere shop hosts the event with the help of a grant from the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, according to a press release.
