Book Expo Thailand 2026, the 31st edition of National Book Fair, is scheduled to make a comeback at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from 23 October until 1 November with various types of books including novels, comics, manga, children’s stories, and international books being showcased within 10 days.

The fair organised by Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) will take place at Halls 5–7 on LG Floor of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Visitors will have an opportunity to visit seven different zones featuring general and fiction books, BL and YA books, comics, children’s and education books, second-hand books, and foreign language books.

This year’s theme of “Unread Messages” relates to the process of reading a book and opening messages waiting to be opened. This theme has been used for the fair’s promotion and competition for its key visual.

There is a good track record that the next event needs to live up to. This year’s 30th National Book Fair had over 1.5 million visitors in just 11 days, generating sales of more than ฿474 million. In addition to these records set at PUBAT, more than 70% of the people who attended the fair were Gen Z, and horror and detective fiction were among the best-sellers.

For the 2026 event, the operating hours would be from 10 am to 9 pm, and the entry would be free. The visitors could reach the venue by taking the MRT to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre station, Exit 3.

As the upcoming fair has all elements that the previous events have, Book Expo Thailand 2026 will continue to bring together Thailand’s publishing and reading community.
