Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised the need of developing positive student-teacher connections in stress reduction.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave schoolchildren preparing for board examinations good advise during his annual Pariksha Pe Charcha ceremony on Monday. He highlighted the need of practice writing answers, saying, "Write as many answers as possible. If you have that practice, the majority of exam-related stress will be eliminated."

The Prime Minister emphasised that confidence develops via practice, noting, "The more you practice, the more confident you become. No matter how difficult the question paper is, if you have practiced properly, you will do well."

He pushed pupils to concentrate on their own efforts and ignore other distractions, emphasising the need of self-improvement, saying, "What you are, what you do, and what you practise will decide your future."

In addition to academic preparation, the Prime Minister stressed the significance of prioritising health and well-being. He recommended pupils to obtain enough sleep, underlining the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind.

Furthermore, PM Modi emphasised the need of fostering positive student-teacher interactions in stress reduction. He encouraged teachers to go beyond the curriculum and make genuine connections with their students, so establishing a learning environment that is conducive.

Addressing parents, PM Modi warned against promoting unhealthy competition among siblings, urging them to instead inspire one another. He also emphasised the negative consequences of excessive social media use, calling for its prudent and careful use.

The Prime Minister warned against comparing children's achievements and using them as status symbols. He stressed the need of resilience in dealing with academic and personal problems, encouraging pupils to set achievable goals and steadily improve their performance.

PM Modi acknowledged parents and teachers' collaborative responsibility for tackling kids' obstacles, emphasising the need of collaboration and assistance in developing students' potential.

In order to preserve a healthy lifestyle, the Prime Minister recommended against excessive use of mobile phones, especially at the expense of sleep. He emphasised the need of proper eating and exercise for overall health.
The event was organised by the Education Ministry. This year represented the eighth installment of Pariksha Pe Charcha.

Every year, before of the Board exams, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attends an engagement with students known as 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'. The annual event aims to help students overcome test stress and anxiety.

The event is held every year for students in grades 6 through 12. The event in 2024 will also include parents and teachers. More than 2.26 crore pupils, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents have registered for the event.
