The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) Ranchi, through its Library Committee, has organized a major book exhibition titled "Shastra Sangam."

The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil, with several distinguished guests in attendance, including Prof. (Dr.) V. Vijaykumar (former VC, NLIU Bhopal), Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Kumar (VC, NLIU Bhopal), Dr. Lisa Lukose (Dean, GGSIP University), and Prof. (Dr.) B. Sudesh (Dean, Faculty of Law, Bangalore University).

The inauguration was also attended by Dr. Vagish Upadhyay, Convenor of the Library Committee, Dr. Pawan Kumar, Library In-charge, and Senior Librarian Dr. Saket Kumar. The exhibition showcases a wide range of rare books from top publishers like Lexis Nexis, Oxford University Press, and Eastern Book Company—all offered at attractive discounts.

Following the ceremony, many professors and students seized the opportunity to purchase numerous books. The two-day event, held on October 24 and 25 at the Legal Aid Clinic area on the ground floor of the Academic Block, is open from 10 AM to 8 PM.

The exhibition features books from leading publishers, with discounts on essential topics like new legal developments, AI, and IT law. In addition to academic titles, the exhibition includes stories, biographies, and a variety of genres, providing something for students and researchers alike.

"Shastra Sangam" offers students a unique chance to build their personal libraries while accessing the latest academic resources not easily found in the market.
