From Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Naples City of Books - Book Fair and Publishing Exhibition 2024, titled "Re-Generations," will take place in the spaces of the Maritime Station Convention Center in Naples. The event, organized by the Liber@Arte association, has received a contribution from the Center for Books and Reading, the patronage and support of the Municipality of Naples, the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and RAI Campania, the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, Campania Law - Naples Prize Foundation, FAI Campania, ACE Associazione Campana Editori, ALI - Italian Booksellers Association Confcommercio, AIB - Italian Libraries Association.

The worldwide culture network is enlarged by confirming a twinning agreement with the Feria Internacional del Libro de Cali (Colombia) made last year and by hosting the city of Durres (Albania) and its writers, which promotes peace, solidarity, and people-to-people contact. This fifth edition will feature 136 publishing labels, as well as national publishing houses and their writers, including Bompiani, E/O, Einaudi, Fandango, Feltrinelli Gramma, Guanda, HarperCollins, La nave di Teseo, Marsilio, Mondadori, Nutrimenti, Solferino, Sperling & Kupfer, Voland.

In addition to covering NapoliCittàLibro for its viewers in news broadcasts during the three days of the Fair, TGR Campania will be present with the Agorà of Reading Books, curated by Claudio Ciccarone, who will inaugurate it on Friday, June 14, at 11.30 a.m., alongside TGR Campania's central editor, Oreste Lo Pomo. The Agorà will be energized by discussions ranging from Neapolitan songs to metropolitan poetry, women's literature in Campania, thrillers, noir, fantasy and historical novels, Neapolitanness (culture, history, linguistics, specific museums, cinema, beauty and madness of Naples), the cheerful spirit of Partenope, children's and young adult literature, and comics.

The association Liber@Arte creates and launches, within the scope of NapoliCittàLibro, a format that combines music and poetry «Napoli Sound Fest, voices and sounds of the city» with three events curated by Fabiana Russo and Gabriele De Simone, scheduled for Saturday, June 15, at 3.00 pm, in Sala Urania 2 with Gian Marco Ferone, Veronica Pesce, Simone Scognamiglio, Angelo Noviello, Kevin del Cuoco; Saturday, June 15, at 7.00 pm in Sala Calipso with Divertenseria, Giovann

The relationship with the International School of Comics has been confirmed: this year, teachers from the acclaimed academy, which is a leader in visual arts training in Italy, will deliver workshops on comics and digital media at NapoliCittàLibro. NapoliCittàLibro will commemorate ten years of "A legendary day - Books and readers on the streets of Vomero," a project aimed at promoting books, reading, and culture in general in a dynamic and participatory manner. A celebration with readings from professors and students, as well as artistic performances by actors and musicians. This issue will feature events produced by national and regional book clubs that gather monthly to give space to writers, publishers, and projects dedicated to the world of books and reading.

Born to Read, a nationwide program that promotes reading in families from birth, will have a dedicated room where it may exhibit books, enlighten families about the benefits of reading, and plan reading moments for the event calendar.
