Koshala Literature Festival 2022 to Kick off its Celebration on November 4

The inaugural Koshala Literature Festival in 2022 will bring together experts from literature, the arts, music, and poetry. On November 4, a three-day event will start at the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy.

Shobha De, Devdutt Pattanaik, Saeed Naqvi, Pushpesh Pant, Mrinal Pande, Ashwin Sanghi, Manish Tewari, Anand Neelakantan, and Sagarika Ghose are just a few of the notable speakers at the event. The speakers' panel will feature luminaries from the worlds of art, film, and culture including Farhat Ehsas, Malini Awasthi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Muzaffar Ali.

"Our goal is to highlight the distinctive culture of Awadh, including its food, folk arts, and music. Malini Awasthi, a folk singer, will give her farewell live performance for us. On day two, Himanshu Bajpai and Pragya Sharma will present a dastan goi on Sahir Ludhianvi. 

In the presence of festival director Prashant Kumar Singh, founder Amitabh Singh Baghel said that experts from Lucknow, including Carlyle McFarland, Aashrita Das, Jayant Krishna, Chandra Shekar Verma, Runa Banerjee, Asma Hussain, and others, will be a part of this special event.

Arif Mohammad Khan, the governor of Kerala, will inaugurate the event and give the keynote address. It will be followed by Urmila Singh's book launch for "Bisre chulah, bisre swad."

"Exploring Lucknow's past has received a lot of attention. There is more to this region than the nawabs and British control that are well known. In the many sessions, the festival will examine that, according to festival consultant Diwakar Bhattacharya.

The festival is free to attend.
