JNU issues new guidelines for students and teachers due to rising Covid-19 caseson Apr 05, 2021 Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has issued new guidelines for students and teachers in view of the rising Covid-19 cases on the campus. All the students, teachers and other staff have to wear a mask while coming out in public and while they are inside the campus otherwise as well. The shopkeepers and canteen staff have to wear masks mandatorily and in case of any violation, they will face closure initially for two days. If found violating the guidelines again, stricter actions will be taken against them. Hand sanitization and thermal scanning will be mandatory at all the important points inside the university campus The re-opening guidelines for JNU will be reviewed in case the Covid-19 cases are found increasing exponentially.
