The 34th Hong Kong Book Fair, the city's largest literary event, is set to take place from July 17 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Organized in conjunction with the Sports and Leisure Expo and World of Snacks, attendees can explore literature, sports, leisure activities, and international snacks with a single ticket.

This year's theme is Film and Television Literature, offering a diverse range of books including popular fiction, biographies, and children's literature. The fair will feature over 600 seminars and cultural activities, with appearances by renowned writers and celebrities, highlighting Hong Kong's role as a cultural bridge between East and West and promoting a robust reading culture.

Visitors can also explore the Art Gallery, which will exhibit works from featured writers and esteemed directors, including manuscripts, movie props, posters, and e-books. The World of Art & Culture section will present literary and cultural exhibits from around the globe, including an AI-powered installation that allows visitors to reimagine classic movie scenes.

The event will see the return of the Eight Seminar Series, with sessions led by notable authors, experts, and celebrities. Additionally, the fair will introduce its first IP Roundtable, discussing the impact of AI on intellectual property and copyright commercialization.
