This World Book Day, HarperCollins India, the fastest growing major publisher in the world, and India's popular homegrown coffee chain, Third Wave Coffee, join hands to introduce 'Paperbacks & Pour Overs' - a project that embodies the eternal passion for pages and pours.

Carefully crafted, Paperbacks & Pour Overs seeks to establish cozy, inviting nooks for book and coffee enthusiasts at some of Third Wave Coffee's cafés nationwide. These cafes will have a carefully curated HarperCollins Discovery Set—a compelling selection of bestselling and popular titles from local and international bestseller lists. Located on special bookshelves, the range will be updated from time to time, so there's always something new to discover. These literary touches are intended to turn every café into a warm reading space—welcoming comfort, igniting discussions, and providing a moment of silent contemplation for readers and book readers alike, all while sipping their favorite brews.

"From day one, at Third Wave Coffee, we've been committed to the idea that our cafés are more than destinations to stop for a wonderful cup — they're where individuals slow down, meet, and make. Coffee and reading have long coexisted comfortably, and with Paperbacks & Pour Overs, we're thrilled to offer this comfortable couple a home in our venues. This alliance is a toast to two habits — reading and pouring — and we're thrilled to bring them to fruition for our customers," added Rajat Luthra, CEO, Third Wave Coffee.

Coffee and books have always gone together — it's the most intuitive and eternal combination. This alliance simply provides that daily magic with a polished nook to call its own. With this project, Third Wave Coffee hopes to naturally integrate reading into daily café culture, highlighting the eternal connection between coffee and books.

Referring to this endeavor, Shabnam Srivastava – GM Marketing, HarperCollins India, says, "While we proceed with our vision of creating READ[er] communities, we are excited to have Third Wave Coffee as our allies to together strengthen the connection between coffee and books as we try to add another layer to the coffee aficionados' experience by introducing them with a list of handpicked books to read as they sip!"

Although the books themselves are not available for purchase, patrons are invited to borrow a paperback, read over their favorite pour-over, and return it for another to enjoy. The collaboration also opens the door for a lineup of literature-inspired experiences, such as author-conducted masterclasses, interactive workshops, book clubs, and co-branded products—all carefully curated for book lovers to pair their reading with a cup of brew. Together, Third Wave Coffee and HarperCollins India will realize the literary vision of the café brand: bringing readers together with stories, and stories together with spaces that inspire.

With Paperbacks & Pour Overs, Third Wave Coffee and HarperCollins India are brewing a common ground for literature and lifestyle to intersect — one page, one pour, and one chat at a time. This partnership invites everyone to drop by, grab a book, sip on a cup of coffee, and become part of a swelling movement where creativity, caffeine, and community intersect.
