Gwalior International Literature Festival

Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav launched the four-day Gwalior International Literature Festival on Saturday. The festival's first ceremony was hosted at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, which was co-organized by Udbhav Cultural and Sports Sansthan, Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, and Central Academy School (IITTM).

The initial event drew writers from all across the country and overseas. During the festival's next three days, they are supposed to reflect on the contemporary state of literature.

In his remarks at the festival's opening, the minister stated that education is essential in social life. He went on to say that literature is a science that has the capacity to heal societal wounds.

According to the minister, Gita reveals itself via literature, which awakens consciousness to live. In such a case, there is a necessity in today's modern atmosphere to show literature in a good light. Minister Yadav further stated that if the Mahabharat and Ramayana did not exist, we would not have known the personalities of Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. While Shri Ram teaches dignity, Shri Krishna's journey imparts the will to live. Shri Krishna's birth demonstrates the complexities of human life. The minister went on to say that Shri Krishna had shown bravery in removing the abnormalities that existed in society, and that it is now the responsibility of litterateurs to play a good part in eradicating the ills that exist in the contemporary environment.

Keshav Pandey, President of Udbhav, presided over the event. Special visitors were Ashutosh Tiwari, President of the Madhya Pradesh Home Construction and Infrastructure Development Board; Parin Somani, English litterateur and President of the All India Sahitya Parishad; and Shridhar Paradkar, Chief Patron of the program.

Tiwari, a special guest, stated that if we want to maintain our traditions alive in life, we must be involved with literature.

According to Chief Patron Paradkar, literature is the most significant aspect of man's life path. The tradition of literature began with the Vedas and continues to this day.
