Gujarat Literature Festival Begins; Here is the Entire Schedule of Events on December 25, 26 | Frontlist

The 10th Gujarat Literature Festival (GLF) was launched on Sunday at Gujarat University. The Gujarat Media Club (GMC) and Gujarat University collaborated on this three-day festival, which took place from December 24th to December 26th.

In launching the Gujarat Literature Festival, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel praised the joint efforts of The Gujarat Media Club, which is dedicated to serving the interests of journalists, and the Gujarat Literature Festival organisers for successfully managing this event in collaboration. The Chief Minister emphasised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's use of literature and culture as a bridge connecting the past, present, and future. He went on to say that the Gujarat administration is dedicated to enhancing the legacy of language and literature through specific initiatives.

Gujarat Media Club President Nirnay Kapoor stated at the first session of the Gujarat Literature Festival that the Gujarat Media Club has been active in numerous activities over the past 18 years, including the upliftment of journalists and journalism. Gujarat Media Club is continually attempting to broaden the media's ever-changing perspective. Along with this, this organisation has worked to raise awareness of the Corona pandemic and social activities such as organ donation.

He went on to say that the literature festival, which is being organised in collaboration with Gujarat University, will greatly boost the affinity of the state's youth for Gujarati art, literature, and films, as well as create a unique platform for budding writers.

Dr. Nirja Gupta, Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat University, and Shyam Parekh, Director and Founder of the Gujarat Literature Festival, both spoke during the launch.

MLAs Kaushik Jain and Amit Thakar, well-known lyricist Prasoon Joshi, members of the Gujarat Media Club, people affiliated with the media and cinema business, writers, artists, journalists, social leaders, teachers, and literature fans were all present on this occasion.
