Student Council Hosts Free Book Fair at SCD Government College in Ludhiana

On September 25, 2024, the Student Council at SCD Government College in Ludhiana organized a Free Book Distribution Fair. The event was organised with the aim of helping the students in need and promoting a spirit of knowledge-sharing among students. The event witnessed the attendance of 500 visitors. 

Prior to the fair, a donation drive was conducted from September 16 to 21, 2024, in which students and faculty members contributed to the Book Bank. The initiative successfully collected over 500 books, all of which were distributed during the fair.

The initiative received guidance from Council Convener Dr. Sajla, with senior members Dr. Saurabh and Dr. Nitin present to motivate participants. The fair was inaugurated by Principal DDO, Mrs. Suman Lata, who praised the council for their commendable efforts.
