Coimbatore Book Fair to Commence from July 19

Coimbatore is set to host its annual book fair from July 19 to 28 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. District collector Kranthi Kumar Pati informed that the fair will feature literary programs, competitions, and 280 stalls, aiming to engage people of all ages.

In efforts to promote reading habits, transport facilities will be provided for government school students to attend the fair. Additionally, the initiative encourages book donations, which will benefit students, including those in government hostels.

Organized jointly by the district administration and CODISSIA, the 10-day event will showcase publishers from across the nation. The fair will be open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, with free entry for all attendees.
