More than 50 authors got help during the program's inaugural phase, resulting in the sale of over 100,000 books and earnings of around Rs 2 crore.

Classplus Publishing Labs has been launched by Classplus, a B2B ed-tech business. This programme is intended to aid educators and authors throughout the book development process, from design to printing, publishing, and shipping. According to an official announcement, Classplus intends to democratise book publishing, making it accessible to educators and authors from varied backgrounds while also enhancing their brand presence.

More than 50 authors got help during the program's inaugural phase, resulting in the sale of over 100,000 books and earnings of around Rs 2 crore. According to the press release, this project intends to make it easier to publish books on a variety of academic and non-academic subjects in any language, complete with images.

Classplus' platform provides significant insights regarding book sales, popularity, and reader response after the book has been published. This data assists new authors in fine-tuning their work for optimal impact. According to the statement, the scheme also allows authors to sell their books on e-commerce sites, boosting their brand and possible earnings.

"The publication of a book is regarded as the hallmark of expertise and cements an educator's status as an expert in their field." However, it is frequently a hard and intimidating task for them. "With Classplus Publishing Labs, we are removing barriers to publishing for educators and content creators, making it more accessible and hassle-free for them," stated Mukul Rustagi, co-founder and CEO of Classplus.

The vast majority of educators and producers who utilise the Classplus platform come from tier 2 cities and beyond—regions that are usually disregarded by traditional publishing houses. This effort intends to play a critical role in empowering these individuals by allowing them to create meaningful connections with their audiences through the medium of books.

Furthermore, it adds a new revenue source to their teaching enterprises, adding to their financial viability and growing their influence in neglected areas.
