Job Introduction We are looking for an experienced, imaginative and innovative Assistant Editor to run WorklifeIndia. The BBC talk show WorklifeIndia is produced in its Delhi studios. A half hour programme is broadcast weekly in English on TV, radio and online. It covers all aspects of working life, business and technology. The presenter is joined by an expert panel and there are frequent Outside Broadcasts. The WorklifeIndia team also produces audio and video reports and content for social media. This output will grow and form a bigger part of the Assistant Editor’s commissioning and editorial role as the team size increases. In addition to the weekly half hour on Radio, World TV, YouTube, and Podcast the expanded team will provide regular input into a variety of World Sservice English output, World TV and Digital Outlets. This content would concentrate on trends, lifestyle and issues affecting all daily life in India and beyond.
