Author Gautam Marwaha made his debut with an inspiring patriotic piece of writing, “The Eleventh Indian”. The book is the story of Rohan Ruparelia, who was held hostage after the ship he was on was hijacked by pirates. Rohan is a young Indian merchantman who joins an oil tanker bound for Nigeria. Confronted with brutal piracy planned by the terrorists. In the story, we see the attempts of the escape of a young boy and the suffering of him and his companions. The story sounds like a package of action and thriller. Simultaneously, we also see the perspectives of members of the terrorist organization Boko Haram, who are trying to establish themselves in Africa. Can Rohan survive this capture or lose his life in it? The author, Marwaha is a serving officer in the Indian Navy whose tenure in Nigeria makes all the details of the story more realistic. The book can be enjoyed by those who enjoy fiction as well as those who like non-fiction.
