The 52nd National Book Fair and the 22nd Bangkok International Book Fair will begin on Thursday and continue daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until April 8 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center's Hall 5-7, Ratchadaphisek Road.

The National Book Fair, held under the "Booklympics" idea by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (Pubat), would feature a million books from 330 publishing houses across over 900 booths.

The event is divided into three primary zones. The Book Zone offers seven types of books: novels and literature, comics and books for teenagers, children's and educational books, foreign books, general books, old books, and non-books.

Highlights of the Exhibition Zone include HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's "Cat Country" exhibition, which features translated literature, and the Office of the Basic Education Commission's Outstanding Book Exhibition 2024.

The Activity Zone will have approximately 100 activities. Highlight will be the Booklympics competition which seeks for five skills in book cover designer, story plot writer, proofreader, top seller and best reader.

Meanwhile, the 22nd Bangkok International Book Fair will have 18 exhibitors from 11 international publishers from nine nations, including Taiwan, Japan, China, and Ukraine. They will showcase literature about printing technology, culture, and language teaching.
