PVLF 2026, or PragatiE Vichaar Literature Festival, is a special literature festival in India that recognizes authors, publishers, and storytelling in all its forms. It is the 5th edition and is expected to be the largest to date with award ceremonies, cultural performances, author panels, and book launches.

PVLF 2026 will take place in early 2026, and we will disclose the specific dates and venue shortly. You can stay tuned to our page on Frontlist, and check your social media feeds.

This year’s theme is “Creating Resilience Through Storytelling”. It aims to remind us and our audiences of the power of stories to transform lives, build strength of mind and community, and enhance emotional wellness.

PVLF is open to authors, publishers, readers, students, teachers, literature lovers, and cultural creators. Regardless of whether you’ve just begun your journey or are a well established author and publisher, there’s a role for you at PVLF.

You register your book entry (for the awards) via the official entry form that will become active on this page starting August 10, 2025, and we are accepting book entries published between January 2023 to September 2025. Voting accordingly.

PVLF has two sets of awards.
PVLF Author Excellence Awards (reader-voted)
PVLF Publisher Excellence Awards (such as, India’s Favourite Publisher, Best Debut Author Publisher.)

Launched in 2025, PVLF Junior is a unique and special day for children and young adult literature. It will have storytelling, children’s author panels, and workshops for children, young readers, and young writers.

Yes. While we will be a hybrid event, all key sessions, awards ceremonies, and author panels will also be streamed live via Frontlist’s website.
